very happy
We've enjoyed using this machine since it arrived at our house. Now we're able to process the many walnuts from our trees without resorting to the old hammer smashing method, which was too slow, messy, and destructive for practicality. The GGG machine is worth the price. Happy too that it's a homegrown USA product.

AS GOOD AS THEY SAY IT IS!!!
Works just as advertised!! Cracks Black Walnuts just as they advertise. Well worth the cost. Made short work of 10 pound of Missouri extra large Black Walnuts

Its winderful! Does exactly what the video shows.

Great nut cracker !
The machine works very well. I would recommend this nut cracker to my friends.

Very kind and good customer service
We, unfortunately, had to return it due to my dad’s arm being too inflexible and weak to maneuver it. He is in his 80s. But for your average adult, it is easy to use. Strong and well built. When I emailed to ask about a return, I would receive a reply within the same day. No hassles at all.

Awesome
Purchased for the use of cracking Black Walnuts and this mechanism did not disappoint. It's easy to use and with large pieces of nutmeat. You designed an excellent product.

Great product
Works great! Very heavy duty.

awesome
Work great on cracking my black walnuts.

I Finally Bought One
Compared to other methods I've used this is by far the best. The ease of use and feel for when to stop crushing the shell is great. The overall design and construction seems second to none. Thanks!

Great little machine
Whether you’re cracking walnuts, pecans, or hickory nuts this machine takes the struggle out of cracking those hulls.

Finally cracking walnuts the right way.
Wish I would’ve known about this earlier. Makes for a very fast, controlled crack.

It works well
Has good design and glad to be able to crack black walnut more simpler.

Really happy
It does a great job. It sure is a lot easier than tapping with a hammer !

this machine is nuts
Met the inventor and his wife at Forrest Keeling Nursery. They had a booth that showcased their GGG machine. I knew I had to have one after trying it out. Works fantastic. I like supporting people like that. Nice that it was from my state of Missouri. Works great. Grandkids love it. Works equally well on my native MO pecans.

Black Walnut nut cracker
Love this nut cracker. Does a great job getting my English walnuts and Butter nuts cracked easily. Thank You

What a beast!
This thing is SERIOUS. And I love it. (An elderly friend's assessment: "That's quite a weapon.") Massive improvement over whacking them with a hammer, and you can really move pretty quickly through a decent quantity of nuts. All the instructions are telling you what you need to know (and need to heed) and I am pleasantly surprised to find that the business end does not pinch fingers readily. Even though I crack them dry, I find that the size of the pieces is pretty good -- it just takes a bit of practice, and I'm looking for broken pieces anyway for baking and porridge and such, so it's fine. The shears are necessary for black walnuts -- and very sharp and powerful, so take care and don't let your attention stray while you use them. Fingers well out of the way. I do appreciate the wooden pull, and, again, the inclusion of the shears. I was too impatient to bolt it down, btw, so I just put it on the floor on a baking tray and stood on those little flanges on the bottom. Worked fine and gives you a pretty good sense of the forces involved. Thank you again for this fine machine.

No equivalent
Bought this as a gift for my Brother in law. He has many large black walnut trees, and cracks and shells large amounts of nuts, theb roasts them in his special recipe, and gifts them during the holidays. He has used a bench top vise (which broke), hammers, sledgehammer, etc. All which are mediocre and all which take forever. Although expensive, I got this for him with the hopes it would do what it says it does. Well, it does. He said it is "awesome!" and does a great job with black walnuts. Has cut the time by a third and crushes them in a way that is much easier to get out the meat, with the tweezers which he said also work excellent. So thanks, as to my experience it's the only thing I found after a year of searching that comes close to a professional tool that won't break doing what it was designed to do. Buy it right, buy it once.

Nuts about Grandpas Goody Getter
Absolutely awesome. I watched my great uncle crack and clean black walnuts with a claw hammer and a piece of railroad iron. When he passed he left 20 gallon bags of clean walnuts. What a gift that was. I wish I had known about Grandpas Goody Getter the I would have surely bought him one. Any way I love this cracker, and think about my dear Uncle Leonard every time I use it. Thank you.

It crushes!
The tool works great! I fixed it to a wood plank and started cracking. It was quickly apparent that I need more directions on how to position the walnut for the best results. Lots of practice needed to extract the most nut meat. Looking for videos to help. Maybe a social media page to share advice?

AMAZING!!!
We finally were able to use the GGG nutcracker!!! Can’t even express how wonderful it is!! I never had the experience of cracking nuts growing up but my husband did every year with his parents. If it were up to him, there would be non of this taking place!!! He would rather just buy them ready to eat!! I think he had flashbacks from his childhood….hammer and pickin nightmares!! Anyway, we used the soaking method and the the GGG Nutcracker was put to work!!! If you want to call it work, I call it a fun way to get yummy nut meats to eat!! Another plus, they are practically free!! It took a little gas in the car to drive 10 minutes to pick up the nuts!! That’s it!! We love the GGG Nutcracker!! Another note here on the soaking method is that you avoid the unnecessary cracking of the bad nuts. The floaters removed leaves the nuts that have nutmeat inside. Some still could have some bad meat inside but it cuts down the work tremendously!! Thank you for this amazing product and for your outstanding friendly service!! PS the white shears are totally amazing as well!!
